BASICS AVON

BASICS AVON is a newly formed group voluntary group which has been created to provide emergency medical care in Avon. The group is affiliated to the British Association for Immediate Care.

The group has bimonthly training meeting which cover all aspects of pre-hospital care.

Although a relatively newly formed group, the work of our members has been noticed by the ambulance service, and we were awarded a Chief Officer's Commendation from Great Western Ambulance Service in March 2009 - certificate
